Job Announcement

Executive Director

If you are passionate about making a direct impact on the lives of SADS patients and contributing to cutting-edge advancements in healthcare research, then there’s never been a more exciting time to join our team. Canadian and international researchers are making significant strides in understanding and treating SADS conditions, including the pioneering of gene therapies, gene editing and small molecule therapies. The Canadian SADS Foundation, as part of its mission, is intent on keeping SADS patients and their families fully informed about these exciting new developments.

The Canadian SADS Foundation, a registered Canadian charity, is the only patient advocacy organization in Canada dedicated to supporting families affected by inherited cardiac rhythm disorders. Our mission is to raise awareness and provide resources for these rare but potentially devastating conditions, collectively known as SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes).

We are seeking a part-time Executive Director who will report directly to the Board of Directors. This role has the potential to evolve into a full-time position, contingent on fundraising success and the candidate’s contributions to advancing the Foundation’s goals. This role is ideal for an individual seeking a long-term, meaningful career in a values-driven environment dedicated to a unique and worthwhile cause.

The Canadian SADS Foundation has gained national and international respect in the SADS community, and we need a dynamic leader to help propel the organization to
new horizons.

You will work remotely in your own home office.
