Dr. Jason Roberts, this month’s guest, is planning to discuss the evolution of treatment strategies, provide an overview about findings in recent pre-clinical research data, and shed light on novel therapeutic approaches under study for arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies. He will also provide an overview of an upcoming clinical trial available here in Canada as well as offer insights for patients who want to enrollment in a clinical trial.

Dr. Roberts is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Hamilton Health Sciences, a PHRI Scientist, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at McMaster University. His academic and professional journey includes a cardiology fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and specialized training in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Roberts also holds a Master’s degree in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics from UCSF.
